Successful Day for Hosts

 In the quarterfinals of beach volleyball, we have five teams, and Slovakia 2 footballers have yet to concede a goal.

BRATISLAVA – Slovak representatives at the European Top Team event had a successful Wednesday on Kuchajda in Bratislava. We excelled in all three team sports in which the tournament is being held.

Footballers in Full Swing Both small football teams won their respective group stages and advanced to the quarterfinals in first place. Slovakia 1 only needed a 2-2 draw with Romania to secure their spot. Slovakia 2 was even more dominant, winning their third group stage match against Serbia 4-0 and advancing as the group winner with a 10-0 score. They haven't conceded a goal in the tournament so far.

The beach volleyball players also impressed in a positive light. Slovak women won all four groups and managed to succeed in the subsequent quarterfinals. Among the top eight, we will have five teams since Slovakia 5, consisting of Beňová and Havelková, also advanced. In the quarterfinals, our girls managed to defeat Bulgaria after a tough battle with a score of 2-1.

The women's basketball team completed their group stage with a victory over Estonia, securing a spot in the quarterfinals from second place. In the quarterfinals, they will face Spain, the second team from Group B, on Thursday morning (10:40). "Before the culmination of the event, these are pleasing results," stated the organizer of the event, Peter Králik.
